Radisson Iveria Hotel
Hotel Iveria, the landmark of the international style in Tbilisi Georgia has been transformed by Graft Architekten into a 5 star hotel with 249 rooms. It hosts a conference center with 10 fully-equipped meeting rooms and a separable auditorium for up to 450 people, two restaurants, a lounge bar and a two-storey wellness center overlooking the city of Tbilisi to the Caucasus. Under the building a two-storey casino was opened . The lighting design clearly refers to Graft´s architecture and creates a nice atmosphere. Recessed luminaires have been used and site-specific lighting installations developed together with the architectural team. For the foyer, a curved light cloud has been created from 1600 glass panels illuminated with 300 LED stripes. For the distinctive stepped interior of the underground casino, a delicate light installation of 300 small glass spheres has been designed.
